English Corner 3: Profiteer Western Harbour Tunnel has rised their tolls!

It is a fact that Western Harbour Tunnel has rised their tolls. However, I think the rise is not reasonable. The act of the Western Harbour Tunnel makes us (especially the car drivers) very angry and disappointed.

Since the Western Harbour Tunnel has rised their tolls, the traffic jam in the Cross-Harbour Tunnel is worse than before. This is because some of the car drivers do not use the Western Harbour Tunnel to go across the harbour to Hong Kong Island, they will use the Cross-Harbour Tunnel instead.

Unfortunately, a storm is coming. The traffic jam in the Cross-Harbour Tunnel will be absolutely worse than usual. Most of the HKCEE and HKALE cerificates who need to go across the harbour to the examination centres are affected. Ridiculously, the Government just ask the cerificates to go out earlier than usual.

Although the Government take actions to prevent the sudden matters, the source of this incident still exists. If the Western Harbour Tunnel can reduce the price, the problem will be completely solved.

Finally, I still oppose to the rise of the tolls of the Western Harbour Tunnel. It seems that Western Harbour Tunnel will become a profiteer!
